Manufacturing Technology we use

The majority of our tanks are built using the filament winding "Hoop-Chop" methods to design codes formulated by our engineers. This process produces tanks with enormous "Hoop" strength and a perfectly smooth mirror interior finish where the appropriate material is used to give the ultimate performance required, be it chemical resistance or special food grade quality.

Foodgrade Storage Tanks
A "mirror-finish" interior is obtained by using a male mould to manufacture these tanks. The interior can be black to eliminate light intrusion or it can be an epoxy vinyl ester resin corrosion barrier for chemical resistance. All tanks are post cured to provide food grade quality. We have manufactured tanks for Spring Water facilities, Olive processors, Wineries, etc.

Chemical Resistant Tanks
When supplied with the type of chemical to be contained we select a special resin usually an Epoxy Vinyl Ester to suit. The interior of these tanks is an impervious, chemical resistant corrosion barrier.

Australian Standard AS2634-1983
Our design engineers formulate our laminating process to suit Australian Standard wind and seismic standards. All fittings, hold down/lifting lugs, manways, etc. are built to Australian Standards in our factory. We achieve very high chemical resistance from our "Manufacturing Intellectual Technology" (MIT).

Manufacturing Intellectual Technology
Our proprietary systems achieve the highest possible exothermic molecular reaction to reach 99% of the resin’s design capabilities, that is chemical resistance and strength capability. At the same time it enables us to produce an almost totally inert laminate similar to stainless steel. For example, Amdel tests show below 0.2% retention of residual volatile. This high level of inertness is necessary for all food grade and aquaculture applications.
